Cesar A. Brea
Managing Partner

Cesar leads engagements with Impact Foundry’s clients and is responsible for the firm’s strategy and operations.

Before starting Impact Foundry, Cesar was a partner at Bain and Company, the global consulting firm, and was a leader in the firm’s Customer, Advanced Analytics, and Consumer Products practices. Engagements led by Cesar delivered nearly a billion dollars in validated annual profit improvement for Bain’s clients, including some of the world’s most iconic brands.

Earlier, Cesar built Force Five Partners, a marketing analytics consulting firm, with clients including T. Rowe Price, Abbvie, Kohl’s, Sallie Mae, AbbVie, HD Supply, and FAO Schwarz. Cesar also led sales and marketing for Razorfish, the global digital agency, and helped to build and sell two visionary internet software firms. Cesar started his career as a workout banker at J.P. Morgan (spending a lot of time in steel mills, which inspired Impact Foundry’s name.)

Cesar has published two books on marketing analytics. He’s also written and spoken widely on the application of technology in marketing, and has taught in software engineering classes at MIT.

Cesar graduated with honors from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business and Harvard College. He serves as an advisor to Nashoba Learning Group, a Massachusetts-based school and adult program serving people with profound autism and other severe cognitive disabilities. In his spare time Cesar is a world-level sailboat racer.
